Pilot blog

I have always been a big fan of home remedies. Maybe it's because I don't like going to doctors. We all know of some common ones like chicken soup for the cold but there some others for other household predicaments. I have heard about using toothpaste to clean jewelry. However, many of us have heard of different kinds of home remedies for common household issues we face. Whether the wisdom was communicated to us from our parents, grand-parents, or great grand-parents, or ever some other relative or friend, kindly share it so we can all benefit.

  2. This is a funny one. WD40 is supposed to loosen up nuts and bolds and keep moving parts functioning well. I've heard stories of people with arthritis using WD40 to keep their joints pain free and in motion as it would keep hinges on a door from squeaking. My mother says she uses it and it works. So I gotta believe her right? She’s my mother after all. lol

  3. This is a good post. I don't have any home remedies to contribute at this time, but the ones that have been mentioned are very interesting. I am especially familiar with the toothpaste on jewelry and it seems to work.

  4. I've heard of the use of apple cider vinegar for just about every ailment. I hope to learn more here.

  5. I have heard from my Aunt that Vinegar and Baking soda in your toilet bowl can cut the rust that is caused by hard water.

Tooth paste on pimples, baking soda to brush your teath, end result, whitter teeth.

    Baking soda for your underarm.

and that is just to name a few that I remember.
